Dr. Andrew Knowlton
I decided to become a dentist following a skiing accident in high school resulting in a broken jaw and a few missing teeth. My dentist made me feel great during a time that I thought my social life was over. I knew I wanted to give people the same feeling I experienced.

I grew up in Belding, and wanted to practice dentistry in a similar community in West Michigan. Sparta is the perfect fit for me. After graduating from Belding High School, I attended Andrews University where I received a bachelor's degree in Medical Technology. I then went to the University of Michigan, and started here right out of dental school in 1999.

My wife Pam and I have three wonderful boys and one beautiful daughter that keep us hopping. We are all very active in our church, and love to be outside playing.

Dr. Jordan Masson

Dr. Jordan Masson
Originally from the east side of Michigan, I grew up about 40 minutes north of Detroit.  After graduating from Lake Orion High School, I attended Western Michigan University.  After receiving a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science from WMU, I set my sites on Dental School.  From 2004-2008, I attended the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry.

Straight out of dental school, I worked as an associate dentist in Virginia Beach, Virginia for 2 years.  Although the weather was great and the ocean views were breathtaking, it wasn’t Michigan.  In 2010, I moved back to Michigan, worked as an associate dentist in Big Rapids and Sidney, and was lucky enough to marry my soul mate, Megan.  We have lived in West Michigan since, and wouldn’t have it any other way.  We have two sons, Jacob and Tyler, as well as a “furry son”, our Bulldog, Oscar.  Family is by far the most important thing to us, and we try to spend as much time as we can together.

As for dentistry, I pride myself in treating people the way I want to be treated.  I understand that going to the dentist is not the most enjoyable event for most people.  For that reason, I try to make every patient interaction comfortable and relaxing.  I truly enjoy creating personal connections with my patients and strive to provide them with the best possible treatment available.

I have been with this practice since 1999.  I am a part of the "behind the scenes" personnel.  I quite often seat patients, help with their periodontal charting, sanitize and set up the operatories, and sterilize the instruments.  I am in charge of the records, fabricate study models, order dental and office supplies, and much more.

I mostly enjoy meeting and visiting with patients.  I truly enjoy my job here and feel very fortunate to be a part of this awesome team.

My husband, Gary, and I have 2 wonderful grown daughters, Salina and Kami.  Salina and her husband, John, have 2 children.  Kami is married to Eric, who is in the Navy.  Having Eric stationed in different places has allowed me the opportunity to visit many states around the U.S..  My hobbies include camping, kayaking, photography, scrapbooking, and spending time with family.  Having two grandchildren means I get to babysit a lot, which I love.
